2011 Woodbridge Chili Cook-off Information

Cook up a pot of your best "red" or watch teams from California and across the United States battle for chili supremacy and the California State Champion title. The public will have the opportunity to sample world class chili and vote for the "People's Choice" award. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lodi Public Library Foundation.

The day-long event also includes a car show with 200 classic cars and motorcycles, live music, delicious food, a marketplace of vendors and craftsmen, and Woodbridge wines to sample or purchase.

Chili teams from California and beyond have until October 13, 2011 to register (there is a $25 entry fee). The top three California resident cooks will receive trophies and will go on to compete at the legendary Terlingua International Chili Championship (TICC) in November 2012.

Decorate your booth or pull out your old guitar and work on those vocals, because the winner of the Showmanship competition (free entry) will also qualify to compete at Terlingua.

There will also be a salsa and guacamole competition($10 entry for each), so pull out those secret family recipes.
